Mike Tyson was born on June 30, 1966 and is a retired American boxer. He is a former undisputed heavyweight champion of the world and holds the record as the youngest boxer to win the WBC, WBA and IBF world heavyweight championships. He holds the distinction for winning his first 19 bouts by knocking out his opponents with twelve of them occurring in the first round itself. In 1992, Tyson was convicted of raping Disiree Washington for which he was sentenced to six years in prison, but was released after serving three years. After being stripped of the WBC title, Tyson lost his WBA crown to Evander Holyfield in November, 1996. Their 1997 rematch ended when Tyson was disqualified for biting off part of Holyfield's ear.
