Leymah Gbowee organized a sex strike to end Liberia’s brutal civil war.

Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf became Africa’s first female president after galvanizing Liberian women to march for peace.

Tawakul Karman, a journalist and mother of three, is fighting for democracy in Yemen. She was out protesting in the streets when she heard that she is going to share the Nobel Peace Prize with two African sisters. No Doubt she’s known as the “Mother of the Revolution”!

It’s amazing because the nobel prize had rarely given out to women. We have the power to change the world and we see that almost every day.

But it’s worthwhile to get recognized by whole world.
