Diwali is a festival of light and feast. This festival is celebrated to enlighten our mind of darkness. Diwali is a festival that brings joy and hypes our mood full of celebration.

This year’s Diwali was on October 18 and 19. Choti Diwali is celebrated the day before the main festival of Diwali. Also known as Naraka Chaturdashi, it is celebrated on the 14th day of Krishna Paksha in the Hindu month of Kartik. The celebration starts on Dhanteras (October 17) and carries on till Bhai Dooj (October 21).

It is a great time to visualize the cultural impact of Diwali in India – with communities from North to South India celebrating Deepavali in different ways makes our country more beautiful and treat to live in.

The significance of the festival is the victory of light over darkness, good over evil, knowledge over ignorance, and hope over discouragement. This year the celebration level was in a different sector in this fall of Diwali. The whole country was lit up with debris and candles and the houses were decorated with all kind of decorative stuff.

One can never ignore the day of Diwali celebration in India. We wish you all Happy Diwali once again.
