He was born and placed up for adoption by his unwed parents (Joanne Simpson, was an undergraduate student, and Abdulfattah John Jandali, was a political science and mathematics professor, and a native Syrian). He was adopted by Paul and Clara Jobs of Mountain View, California. Paul Jobs was a machinist and his wife was an accountant.
Jobs Attended Reed College in Portland, Oregoan before dropping out. He worked at Atari Inc as a video game designer. Jobs was keen to study and experience spiritualism under the guidance of Neem Karoli Baba at his Kainchi Ashram in India. However, when he arrived, he learnt that the Baba had died.
He met Steve Wozniak, who worked for HP. After HP turned down Wozniak’s design of computer logic board, they both started a business working from Job’s family garage. That gave birth to Apple I.
Apple computer was registered now and Apple II went for sale.
Apple went public in 1981. Jobs convinced Pepsico’s president John Sculley to become Apple CEO and the company introduced Macintosh, an all-in-one desktop computer with a graphical interface.
Macintosh sales were disappointing and Sculley pushed Jobs out of Apple in 1985. Jobs started a new company to develop a new computer opearating system NextStep. He acquired Pixar animation studios and became a billionaire when Pixar went public in 1995.
New Apple CEO Gilbert Amelio bought NextStep and brought back Jobs as consultant. Appl’es board asked Jobs to run the company again the following year. in 1998, apple released the all-in-one iMac and it became the fastest selling PC in history.

Jobs was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.
Jobs took a short leave to receive treatment for pancreatic cancer. In January 2009, after a year when he lost considerable weight, Jobs announced that he was taking a leave for ansense thru June during which he underwent a liver transplant.
