While our pets may be an eccentric company, they can also be reeking and dirty and carry parasites such as fleas and germs. Balls of pet hair, urine stains on the carpet, droppings, shavings, or feathers getting into the most unusual places are all snags that many pet owners skirmish with regularly.
Here we have some tips that you can try to keep a clean house when you have pets.
>Regular Grooming Is Important: While it is true that no amount of grooming will entirely prevent shedding, it can make a huge difference, and it also helps maintain a healthy coat and skin.
> Get some latex gloves: Forget about outlaying half an hour ripping off layer after layer of your sticky lint brush. Instead, slip on a pair of latex gloves and rub your hands along your sofa, chair, and car interior to get rid of pet hair—it really works! The fur sticks to the gloves. Afterwards, run your gloved hands under water; the fur will come right off.
> Buy a quality vacuum cleaner: Look for a pet fitting vacuum cleaner to pick up pesky hairs and help banish odors. You’ll need an extra strong suction, quality filter and a good brush action to pull hair out rather than glide over the surface. Consider the type of flooring you have in your home and if your pet goes on the furniture, look for one which can tackle upholstery too.
> Raid your cupboards to fight bad odor: If you don’t want to purchase a cupboard load of cleaning products, check out what you’ve already got. Example- For furniture and upholstery that isn’t easy to clean, soda is also great at neutralizing odors.
So, try the above tips and keep your house clean when you have pets.
