International Women’s Day (March 8) is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity. Women’s day is a mark of strength that makes us realize that women and their courage need to be appreciated and applauded.

Have you ever wondered why there is a separate day for women to celebrate and not for men? Well, to actually come to a conclusion, it is our duty that we need to give honour to all the women out there who have shown real strength and contribution to humanity irrespective to any barrier or obstacle.

Women’s day, a day to celebrate women empowerment and growth that nullify societal errors and thinking that women are a lower section of human society is a truly blissful day to celebrate. We as a society have a sense of dignity for all the women out there who have made their mark and paved ways for many others to follow their footprints.

The day to enjoy freedom and joy, women’s day is a real significance of changing the world and their views. To be more precise and descriptive, men and women are two sides of the same coin of humanity and courage, and both are engaged in their respective way to steer the world. But being a woman has an additional price to pay i.e. price for outbound sentiments and emotions.

International women’s day is a day that celebrates the richness of humanity and belongingness of women in society. Women as a word demonstrate society, ambition, strength, power, respect, gravity and what not. The world of work is changing, with significant implications for women. We wish all the women out in the world a happy women’s day and thank them for their contributions to human life and civilization.
