Fad diets are always a “NO” to your body growth. It is important that we take some additional care to be healthy and also fit. When we’re most motivated for change, anything new and flashy can seem like the secret to being fit. To be all healthy and balanced, it is essential that we avoid fad diets.

>The Raw Food Diet: Anyone would agree that eating veggies will reduce your body toxins and will make you all healthy and fit internally and externally, but this diet bans foods that have been broiled. Raw foodies say cooking destroys nutrients. Though it’s true that cooking produce can sometimes reduce nutrient levels, cooked veggies still pack plenty of fiber, vitamins and minerals, and in some instances cooking actually enhances nutrients while also killing bacteria.

>Alkaline Diets: People considers alkaline diets as the most nutritional input to our body. The alkaline diet requires you to cut out meat, dairy, sweets, caffeine, alcohol, artificial and processed foods and consume more fresh fruits and veggies, nuts and seeds. Alkaline diets though have some positive impacts, but our body is incredibly efficient at keeping your pH levels where they need to be, so cutting out these foods really won’t affect your body’s pH.

>The Five-Bite Diet: Have you ever heard of ‘The Five-Bite Diet”. Well, it means, eat whatever you want but only five bites of it. On this diet, even if you take giant bites of heavily caloric food, you’re still barely consuming 900 to 1,000 calories a day.

So, try avoiding the above fad diets to remain healthy.
