Gas, bloating and constipation are some major issues we all deal with on a regular basis. Though it might feel normal, however, sometimes gas and bloating become severe enough that it’s uncomfortable or even painful. Add another daily meal if needed. A subset of people who experience gas, constipation and bloating don’t really have an enflamed stomach or increased pressure in the abdomen. The issue is mostly sensory.

> Avoid Swallowing Air and Gases: The biggest wrongdoer here is carbonated beverages like soda or fizzy drinks. They contain fizzes with carbon dioxide, a gas that can be unconfined from the liquid after it reaches your stomach. Chewing gum, drinking through a straw and eating while talking can also lead to increased amounts of swallowed air which in turn can cause gas, constipation and bloating.

> Add veggies: You don’t have to count fiber the amount you need. Instead, aim to eat 2 cups of fruit and a cups of vegetables every day. Keep a fruit bowl full for a handy and healthy snack, and add chopped, dried fruit to oatmeal and cereal. This particular meal will reduce gas, constipation and bloating issues.
