With such a large databse of people trying to lose weight from all over the world, the app company has found an interesting piece of information that may possibly have a lot of bearing on your future efforts to lose weight. Myfitnesspal has discovered that users who share their daily food/exercise diaries with their friends lose twice as much weight as the users who don’t!
To find further evidence of this theory, Myfitnesspal conducted a survey amongst 2220 of its users, asking them why they formed groups and exchanged information with other users. The responses showed that these users were connecting with others to form support groups and keep each other motivated!
