Flossing is one of such things that were unheard of till a decade back. But now it is being touted as one of the most important things to take care of your health. Here is why flossing is important for the good health of your pearly whites.

Flossing gets rid of all the food particles stuck between your teeth. This helps in preventing cavities and also prevents gingivitis. Cavities are known to be the root cause of poor dental health. All the teeth problems begin as small cavities. As they grow in size, they become bigger problems requiring root canal or even extractions. Children are at very high risk of dental problems these days due to the change in our diet and lifestyle. This is why you should encourage them to floss at a young age.
