Ajay Devgn is quite excited as his ambitious project, ‘Tanhaji: the Unsung Warrior’ hits the theatres today.
The film that marks his 100th film in Bollywood Hindi film industry has been in the news for all the right reasons.
The actor today took to his Twitter handle to share some pictures of a theatres where school children can be seen watching the movie. Ajay, along with the makers of the film, arranged for an exclusive special screening of the historical saga for the school students.
Sharing the pictures from inside the theatre, Ajay captioned his post as, ‘Our youth watching their history unfold infront of them’
Directed by Oma Raut, the period drama also stars Saif Ali Khan and Kajol in the lead roles. Kajol and Ajay Devgn came together on the silver screen after a long time.
‘Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior’, based on the life of Tanaji Malusare, a 17th-century Maharashtrian Marathi military leader.
The movie, which has released today across the country along with Meghna Gulzar’s ‘Chhapaak’ starring Deepika Padukone, has received positive reviews from the audience and critics alike.
