According to verified collection data provided by producer Kalaipuli S Dhanu, the Rajinikanth-starrer has earned about Rs 400 crore already. While Rs 200 crore is the box office collection, the film earned Rs 200 crore before release with the sale of music rights etc.

Kabali producer Kalaipuli S Dhanu informed that this Rajinikanth’s film has earned Rs 90 crore abroad in the first weekend, out of which Rs 28 crore came from the US itself where the film is among the top 10 films being watched in the country.

The producer puts Indian collection for the first weekend at around Rs 100 crore. “I will never forget these days in my life. This release has given me so much happiness. It has broken the collection records of Indian cinema in the last 100 years,” Dhanu said.
