Meanwhile, as per a report in Mid-day, Singh couldn't meet his mentor Aditya Chopra before he left for Italy.

Turns out that Deepika and Ranveer wished to meet Aditya at his Juhu residence, however, he was unavailable. The couple then reached out to his wife Rani Mukerji. She however, kept delaying the meeting saying that he isn't at home. Eventually, Singh had to speak to him on phone and missed out on meeting him before they left for their wedding.

Deepika and Ranveer got married at Lake Como in Italy on November 14 and 15 and are currently headed to Mumbai from Milan.

The newlyweds are expected to land in Mumbai at 8:00 AM IST, post which they will head to Ranveer's residence where Singh's family has prepped up for a special welcome for Deepika. The couple will be hosting three receptions, one in Bengaluru and two in Mumbai. Post their return to Mumbai, they will head to Bengaluru on November 20, 2018, for the reception on the next day. The receptions in Mumbai are dated for November 28, 2018, and December 1, 2018.
