Sara Ali Khan made her grand debut in 2018 with Kedarnath, and since then she is considered as one of the most popular young stars. She will be next seen opposite Varun Dhawan in Coolie No 1. The film is a remake of the 1995-hit of the same name. The film is directed by David Dhawan, who directed the original movie.
Recently, in an interview, the actress recounted an experience when she wanted to fake cardiac arrest to escape a lengthy narration but her mother Amrita Singh didn't give her permission.
"There was this one time. I am not going to say much…because he said so much!. I went to the restroom with my phone, three hours in, and I told my mom, 'Look, I know that we are all professional and we should be thankful for these opportunities… But can I pretend to have a cardiac arrest? Is that allowed?' She said no, so I asked, 'Should I faint? Should I throw up? What do I do?' She told me that I have to go back with professionalism and continue till the end," Sara said in the web talk show for East India Comedy.
The actress further added, "Anyways, five and a half hours later, I'm at my home, and I told my mother, 'I really just hate you, I don't want to talk, I don't want to hear anything. I just want to sleep.'"
On the work front, Sara was last seen romancing with Kartik Aaryan in Imtiaz Ali's Love Aaj Kal. The film shows love stories of two different eras; the first is set in the late 1980s–early nineties, and unfolds between Raghu and Leena. The other love story, set in the present time, happens between Veer and Zoe. While Kartik plays Raghu and Veer, Sara Ali Khan has been cast as Zoe and Arushi Sharma plays Leena. The romantic drama released on February 14.
