Anil Kapoor caught up with Olympic medalist Yohan Blake at his Juhu residence last week, where the duo bonded over food, fitness and sports after going for a run on a Juhu ground.
Now, we have learnt that another Olympian, Milica Mandic, recently met Tiger Shroff in Belgrade, Serbia, where the actor is presently shooting for the Sajid Nadiadwala production 'Baaghi 3'.
A Serbian taekwondo athlete, Milica, at the 2012 London Olympics, became the first gold medalist for independent Serbia, following which she bagged another gold at the World Taekwondo Championships in 2017.
According to a source close to the development, it was a line producer on the film who arranged for the meeting between the two martial arts experts.
“Milica was on the film’s set on Monday morning in Belgrade and spent an hour with Tiger. It was a fun meeting. They tried Tiger’s famous kicks. She also watched the trailer of 'Baaghi 2' and as a fan of action films, was impressed. She also expressed her desire to visit India as she has never been here before,” adds the source. Elaborating on the meeting, Tiger said, “I have seen Milica’s matches. We discussed her plans for the coming year. I would love to visit her club to train with her and her coach,” while Milica added, “(The meeting) was something new and interesting. I would love to bring Tiger to meet the other champions, show him how we train, and learn some of his action moves.”
The Ahmed Khan-directed 'Baaghi 3' kicked off in Serbia on November 8, and the team has so far shot in Pancevo, Pozarevac and Kovin in this schedule.
Leading lady Shraddha Kapoor and Riteish Deshmukh, who plays Tiger’s brother, are also a part of the schedule for which special stunt teams have been commissioned from Thailand, Bulgaria and Serbia. Shooting is likely to wrap up on December 17
