Tiger Shroff aspires to be the next Spiderman for Marvel
After a lot of anticipation and buzz, the makers of Student Of The Year 2 introduced us to the batch of 2019 in the form of a kickass trailer and boy, are we hooked!
Featuring Tiger Shroff along with debutantes Ananya Panday and Tara Sutaria, the promo was everything we expected and more. It gave us a peek into how the fresh crop will contest the challenge of the decade and it didn't look easy! Then came the songs and we were certain about one thing, the newest bunch of St. Teresa is here to win!
In fact, BollywoodLife recently met with the trio for a fun interaction and boy, was it a hoot!
The dream team gave us a lot of scoop about how the entire filming and shooting was one big party and also no matter how hard their director Punit Malhotra tried, he was never a disciplinarian on the sets. But every party comes to an end and so did this sesh for the students who are already gearing up for more. When asked about who they want to work with next, both Tara and Ananya revealed that they would like to work with Sanjay Leela Bhansali and his creative genius. Speaking about the same, Tara chimed in with, "I'm hoping and praying everyday that at some point I get to work with Mr Bhansali. I think he epitomises what music and dance should be executed on screen as. It would be the biggest dream come true." Even Ananya echoed similar thoughts and also included a few other names to the list. "For me, same. I would love to work with Mr Bhansali. Zoya (Akhtar) is also my favourite director. I just love the kind of cinema she makes. (Also) I'd like to work with David (Dhawan) sir, those masala films." But while that was that, Tiger Shroff has different plans. Watch the video to know it!
Yeah, he wants to be Spiderman in the next Avengers movie. Hear that, Marvel? Do your thing!
Earlier, on being asked about the experience of working on a Dharma film and if it felt like a party, the newbies nodded away, saying how the filming has been nothing but a fun ride. On being probed further about Punit Malhotra as a director, Tara and Ananya were of the opinion that he tried to be a strict taskmaster but he is really "too cool for school." Even Tiger added, "I haven’t worked with such a young director. He knows what he wants and he gets it the way he wants but not in a strict manner. He is very cool and gives the freedom to improvise."
