Tahira on Ayushmann's Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan: He has a knack of sniffing out amazing scripts
Ayushmann Khurrana is known for making interesting choices and doing unconventional characters. From his debut film Vicky Donor itself, the actor has shown that he is not going to stick to a particular genre or repetitive roles.
Last year, with Andhadhun and Badhaai Ho, Ayushmann won hearts with his performances and for doing spectacular stories. In his 2017 film Shubh Mangal Saavdhaan, he played the role of Mudit Mishra who suffered from erectile dysfunction. People appreciated his performance and the film as it was a topic which no one thought would be touched in Bollywood.
Yesterday, Ayushmann announced the second film of the Shubh Mangal series called Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan.
The film will be based on a gay love story and it will be helmed by Hitesh Kewalya. The audience is pretty excited as to see a mainstream Bollywood film delving upon the topic of homosexual love. Pinkvilla spoke to Ayushmann Khurrana's wife Tahira Kashyap about what she thinks of her husband playing another interesting role.
Tahira Kashyap told Pinkvilla, "Super kicked about this one! Ayushmann has a knack of sniffing out amazing, crazy scripts that are relevant at the same time and as an artist he is fearless. I am proud of the same."
Meanwhile, about Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan, Ayushmann earlier said that it is one of the most brilliant film scripts he read in a long time. The actor added that the film touches the subject of homosexuality really sensitively and it's also an out and out entertaining film.
