By looking at the poster we must, our excitement for the film has gone one notch higher. In the poster, we see Rajkummar and Shraddha sharing a romantic eye-contact with each other while in the backdrop we see the shadow of Shraddha Kapoor as a witch. We also see Pankaj Tripathi and Aparshakti in the poster, who look anxious and curious to know the situation
 

Talking about Stree, which is reported to be a horror-comedy, is written by Raj and DK, who are known for films like Shor in the City, Go Goa Gone, Happy Ending and A Gentleman.

Helmed by Amar Kaushik, Stree is being backed by Maddock Films, jointly produced by Dinesh Vijan and Raj and DK. The film is based on an urban legend, set in a small village, Chanderi in Bhopal. Music-composer duo Sachin-Jigar have scored the album. This is the first time that Rajkummar and Shraddha are sharing screen space. It is set to hit the screens on August 31.

On the work front, Rajkummar has an interesting line-up of films, which includes director Atul Manjrekar’s Fanney Khan, which also features Anil Kapoor and Aishwarya in key roles and an international film 5 weddings.
