Shah Rukh Khan's banner Red Chillies Entertainments has started training for a motion picture based on Operation Khukri,
This flick is a rescue operation by the Indian armed forces to deliver over 200 Indian soldiers held captive by rebels in Sierra Leone, West Africa.
"At that place is a great deal of excitement in Red Chillies for this task. Since there would be a great deal of research and preparation involved, the production team has already commenced work on the same," a source in the know about developments told IANS.
The film's script is being prepared in association with Azure Entertainment.
Prepare to work on the floors after this year, it will be filmed on actual locations in Africa, the informant said, adding: "While the director and cast are being finalized, preparations are underway to make this mammoth project rolling."
The task is particularly close to Shah Rukh's heart, who embarked on his playing career with a purpose as any army person in "Fauji".
According to the source, the actor is personally very upbeat about this project, which is likely to be the banner's most expensive project.
