2017 Indian action crime thriller film directed by Rahul Dholakia and produced by Gauri Khan, Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar under their banners Red Chillies Entertainment and Excel Entertainment.
Well, SRK’s this year’s most anticipated film ‘Raees’ has been given a U/A certificate by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).
The action packed film has faced six verbal cuts, but there has been no censorship on some of the mind-boggling action scenes, which the Board felt was required to keep the film's authenticity intact, according to reports.
The film Raees is based on the life and crimes of a well-known gangster-turned-politician in Gujarat.
However, makers and director Rahul Dholakia have denied that the film has any resemblance to the life of Latif, who structured his empire around illicit liquor.
It also also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Mahira Khan
