Inspired by true events, the film directed by Neeraj Pandey will see the two Bollywood star play the role of two strong-minded army officers having completely different views. While pictures of the leading men have been doing the rounds along with a few photographs from the sets making their way online, the makers will unveil the first official look on Vijay Diwas, which marks India's victory over Pakistan in 1971 war that eventually led to the liberation of Bangladesh.
 

The filmmaker said that his film is a tribute to the martyrs who laid down their lives for the country in 1971. Speaking about the film’s title, he said that it meant “the ultimate trickery.”

‘Aiyaary’ stars an ensemble cast of Sidharth Malhotra, Manoj Bajpayee, Pooja Chopra, Rakul Preet, Anupam Kher and Naseeruddin Shah. The film is slated for a Republic Day release, where it will clash with Akshay Kumar’s ‘PadMan’.
