Mr. India: Arun, who strives to raise orphaned kids, is harassed by a gangster who's after his house. After losing one of the kids, he uses his inventor father's invisibility watch to fight crime and corruption.
Mr. India was one of the iconic films of the 90s, which featured Anil Kapoor and Sridevi in the lead role.
It was the most loved films of that time. So much so that people have time and again requested its makers to come up with the second instalment of the film.
However, despite so much of urgings, director Shekhar Kapur has always denied having any intentions of making a sequel or remaking the film anytime in the future.
Shekhar recently took to his twitter handle to clarify it once more by giving an apt reply to someone who probably made yet another attempt to persuade the director.
Keeping it in form of a conversation, he wrote, 'We'll give u 300cr to make Mr India 2, we'll recover in first 3 days!
'He said. Mr India ran 30 years, why would I make a film for 3 days?” Well, we now know one thing for sure that there will be no Mr. India 2 for its fans!
