Shahid Kapoor has no movie after Kabir Singh: I am unemployed right now and it sucks
To say that Shahid Kapoor is one of the most talented actors in the industry is to state the obvious, what with films like Kaminey, Udta Punjab, Jab We Met and others to his credit.
As we speak, Shahid Kapoor is busy with the promotions of Kabir Singh wherein he will be seen romancing Kiara Advani for the first time on screen. In the film, as we can tell from the trailer, Shahid plays the role of an alcoholic surgeon who is devastated after his girlfriend, played by Kiara, marries someone else and hence, he treads on a path to self destruction.
Kabir Singh is the official remake of Telugu-hit film Arjun Reddy, helmed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, and the film will hit the screens on June 21, 2019.
Ever since the trailer of the film was dropped online, the buzz around the film is at an all-time high, and while the film is only a few days away from its release i.e. June 21, 2019, Shahid Kapoor, in an interview, opened up about being unemployed post Kabir Singh. Although there were reports of that 38-year-old Shahid Kapoor is interested in making a biopic on boxer Dingko Singh- the first and only Asian gold medallist boxer from India in the Bantamweight category, but there has been no former announcement on the same. “I am unemployed right now because I don’t have a film and it does suck because I want to know what I am doing next! I do have too many things to do even when I am not working, so there is always something to do,” said Shahid Kapoor.
