Sanjay Dutt is gearing up for the release of 'Prassthanam', which is his second film of this year. His first film was Abhishek Varman's Kalank' which failed miserably to perform as per the maker's expectations. Sanjay, who is on a promotional spree for his next was quizzed about the failure of Kalank and this is what he said.
The star reportedly said he works from his heart and anything that appeals him as a character he wants to do it. He doesn't think that whether it will it perform in today's time. And if it doesn't work well, he moves on.
He was also asked if he ever analysed about a film's failure. To which he answers saying that he doesn't have time for that. Produced by Karan Johar, 'Kalank' featured Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sonakshi Sinha, Madhuri Dixit and Kunal Kemmu in pivotal roles.
The film created a lot of buzz among the audience due to the big-budget and star cast.
Apart from Sanjay, 'Prassthanam' also features Manisha Koirala, Jackie Shroff, Chunky Panday, Ali Fazal, Satyajeet Dubey and Amyra Dastur in pivotal roles. It is slated to release on 20th September.
