Salman Khan's multi-faceted personality is loved by everyone. The man started with being an actor, then he went on to becoming a singer and now a producer. Despite a lot of flak that Bollywood actors who are turning into singers have received, Salman gives no two pennies about it and is all set to debut as a Marathi singer.
Salman's close friend and a renowned director Mahesh Manjrekar's upcoming Marathi movie 'Friends Unlimited' has garnered a lot of popularity. All thanks to Sallu bhai!
After sharing the first poster of the movie on his Twitter, he is now lending his voice in Mahesh's movie.
Reportedly, The song is an adaptation of the cult Bollywood song 'Panchhi banoon udti phiroon', which was originally composed by Shanker Jaikishen.
Music director of 'Friends Unlimited' Vishal Mishra revealed how Salman Khan totally nailed the song. Speaking to a leading daily, he said, " Salman fell in love with the song and the way it was recreated. I had the privilege to record it in his voice and he rendered it so well that it gave an all-new dimension to the song. It has now turned out to be the highlight of the film. "
Talking about the movie, Vishal said, It is more of a cosmopolitan film and has the feel of a Broadway musical.
That is also the reason why we have songs in Hindi, Marathi and English, which is a first for any Marathi film.
