It is raining biopics in Bollywood and actress Shraddha Kapoor is on a roll.
After portraying the mafia queen of the underworld, Haseena Parkar, the actress is all set to play ace badminton player Saina Nehwal in her next film.
Shraddha has been reportedly preparing for the film by training under former badminton player Pullela Gopichand for over a month-and-a-half now.
However, even after 34 classes of badminton, Shraddha is reportedly struggling to pick up the nuances of the game for the movie.
As per the report, the film was supposed to go on floors this month, but it now has to wait until Shraddha perfects her game in order to look convincing on screen.
The reports further suggest that Shraddha has been finding it tough to prepare for the role and with so much left to prepare, the film may start rolling only by the first quarter of next year.
Shraddha also recently sustained a leg injury which will reportedly take a week to heal. This, in turn, has made the matters worse. While the film's director Amol Gupte reportedly refused to comment on the same citing ill health.
