Veteran actor Vinod Khanna, who best known for films like 'Amar Akbar Anthony', 'Qurbani' and 'Dabangg', breathed his last on Thursday.
While a host of celebrities across the fields of politics, cricket and films took to Twitter to mourn the actor's demise, many stars from the film fraternity also attended the funeral.
However, Khanna's 'Amar Akbar Anthony' co-star Rishi Kapoor was upset that no actor from the current generation turned up at the funeral to pay their last respects.
Thus, Rishi was expressing his anger towards the current crop of actors on his blog.
His first tweet read, "Shameful. Not ONE actor of this generation attended Vinod Khanna's funeral. And that too, he has worked with them. Must learn to respect."
He then went on to put a series of tweets, with one of them even justifying why his wife Neetu Kapoor and son Ranbir Kapoor couldn't make it to the funeral.
Why this? Including mine and thereafter. When I die, I must be prepared.None will shoulder me. Very, very angry with today's so called stars.
He also clarified that, why Neetu and Ranbir not attending the funeral, he added my wife and Ranbir are out of the country. Would never had been a reason not to be there.
Rishi also pointed out how several stars made it a point to attend Priyanka Chopra's bash held on Wednesday night, but skipped Khanna's funeral. Angry. Met so many chamcha people last night at Priyanka Chopra's do last night. Few at Vinod's. So fuckn transparent. So angry with them.
