Priyanka Chopra reveals she knew husband Nick Jonas was a keeper on their first few dates
Priyanka Chopra and husband Nick Jonas set the Cannes 2019 red carpet on fire.
Their on-point looks and sizzling chemistry was unmissable and the couple who will soon complete six months of marriage could not stop gushing over each other. Priyanka and Nick tied the knot in December 2018 and on numerous occasions the couple have individually spoken about their married life. From the earlier interviews, it has been quite evident that the two stars are head over heels in love with each other.
Well, in a latest interview with Film Companion, Priyanka shared a specific memory about Nick Jonas and the moment she knew he was a keeper for life.
She also revealed that their relationship works in an amazing manner because Nick knows what it takes to have the careers that they have. Priyanka said, "The best thing about getting married to someone like Nick is he understands what it takes to have the careers that we do. His career is longer than mine, he's been in the business almost 20-21 years and he knows what it takes. So that was one of the first things I think I fell in love with him.”
Priyanka also revealed an incident which occurred when they were dating and their friends were chilling on a boat.
Priyanka said, "We were on a boat with a bunch of our friends, it was the Memorial Day weekend and a bunch of our friends was like don't go to work. I was like maaroing hints, if someone gives me a reason to cancel my meeting, I will cancel it, he's like ignoring, I am like did he hear me, he's ignoring me."
Priyanka shared that Nick later took her aside and told her that he understands how much hard she has worked to be where she is.
"I am going to take out our friends for dinner, you finish up and come back," Nick told Priyanka. The actress added, "I sat back when I was going for my meeting, I said he's hosting our friends and waiting for me to finish. That's when I knew he's a keeper."
