Long time after news first broke of the actress being offered the titular character, recent reports state that Priyanka has finally come on board for the project that will be mounted on an international scale.
According to reports, Priyanka's team has been actively involved in the pre-production work of the cinema that is being directed by debutante Priya Mishra. The script has also reportedly been locked and a new production company will be bankrolling the movie.

The young woman who hailed from Karnal, Haryana, flew into space along the shuttle Columbia in 1997. She went on her second expedition along with six other crew members in 2003, in a space shuttle catastrophe.
She had spent 31 days, 14 hours and 54 minutes in space.
Meanwhile, Priyanka is back from the US after shooting for the second season of her TV show 'Quantico'. She is presently in the city to promote her Hollywood debut film 'Baywatch'.
