After basking in the glory of her last outings with Akshay Kumar's 'Mission Mangal' and 'Housefull 4', the beautiful actress is now all set to impress the audience with yet another multi-starrer film, 'Pagalpanti'.
As we all know, there was a change in the hands of the director for Housefull 4 due to the MeToo allegations on Sajid Khan. Speaking about the same, Kriti has her own opinion on Sajid's exit from 'Housefull 4'. Kriti in a candid chat with Etimes shared, "
See, as actors, you know, it's our job to mold ourselves into certain kinds of characters.
Of course, there is a reason that a director is on board because, of course, everybody needs a certain amount of direction. Having said that, the decision is purely something that has to be made by the production and the studio because at the end of the day, they are the reason why I am in the film, they have chosen me. So this is their baby, and it’s their decision, who they want to make the film with and who they don’t."
Kriti further added, "There will be a lot of times in our life when we will be in a situation where we can easily crib and but now the idea is, come what may, the show must go on.
That's how cinema works and that's how we have worked. For me as an actor, I believe, that if the producer and the studio are making a certain kind of decision, it’ll be in favor of the film. It was my job to continue working with them without any hiccups. If there is something that's happening, that's completely against my policy as a human being, I am the kind of a person who puts their foot down."
