It seems God father Karan Johar is very excited for Ishaan Khattar And Janhvi Kapoor’s debut Dhadak, a few days ago he posted the first look pic of the film and now he shares some photograph of the film. The film, helmed by 'Badrinath Ki Dulhania' director Shashank Khaitan, is slated for a July 6, 2018, release.

After creating a lot of buzz and the right one for the film 'Dhadak', filmmaker Karan Johar has finally shared the first photos of Ishaan Khattar and Janhvi Kapoor from the sets of 'Dhadak'. The team kick-started shoot for this film on Friday, December 1, in Udaipur. Today, early morning, the team offered prayers and took blessings from God before they said 'action'.

The leading lady is accompanied by her beautiful actress mother, Sridevi and the most loved Bollywood designer, Manish Malhotra. The designer took to his Instagram account to share the picture. Janhvi, Sridevi, and Manish, they all looked over overjoyed in the picture.

'Dhadak' is a remake of the blockbuster Marathi film 'Sairaat', which touch-based upon the issue of caste and honour killing. However, talking to PTI, Karan had said that he'll be giving an urban touch to the film and will be set in the backdrop of Udaipur. "The basic premise (of Dhadak and Sairat) is same. But there are variations." Talking about the fresh cast he's working with, he said: "Janhvi and Ishaan are great people and are very hard working. These are the two things that I always look for in actors," told Johar to PTI.
