John Abraham has two female-oriented films but is finding it difficult to sell
In a day and age when female oriented content is emerging as a box office champion, John Abraham is finding it difficult to sell his women-centric projects.
In an interview with an online portal the actor revealed that he has two fantastic female-oriented films but he stated that convincing a studio to buy at a certain price is turning out to be quite an effort and that despite the changing times, it is still a battle. When films like ‘Mission Mangal’ and ‘Saand Ki Aankh’ have successfully entertained the audience, John feels it is tough to get studios to back female-oriented content.
John Abraham is currently busy promoting his upcoming comic caper ‘Pagalpanti’ which is scheduled to hit the screens on November 22. Directed by Anees Bazmee the film also features Ileana D’Cruz, Anil Kapoor and Arshad Warsi among others.
Post this, he will be seen in an action packed avatar in ‘Attack’ for which he has already started the preps. The plot features John fighting a hostage situation against terrorists. ‘Attack’ will feature Jacqueline Fernandez opposite John. The actor will also be seen in Sanjay Gupta’s crime drama ‘Mumbai Saga’.
