Ishaan Khatter made his big Bollywood debut with Shashank Khaitan's 'Dhadak' opposite Janhvi Kapoor. It is now shooting for 'Khaali Peeli' opposite Ananya Panday. Recently, on Neha Dhupia's chat show, the actor opened up about his brother Shahid Kapoor’s character in the film 'Kabir Singh'.

The actor claimed that he felt empathetic towards the character and was also affected by it.

He revealed that he loved as well as hated the character. He saw it as a very flawed guy and not as an example of somebody to learn from or live your life like. He feels that the character was somebody who is going through ups and downs, most of the downs created by himself and his own actions.
 

Ishaan also talked about the climax of the movie he stated that it was a director’s choice. It could have ended very differently like 'Devdas'. He chose hope over a tragedy.

Helmed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the film also featured Kiara Advani in pivotal roles. Meanwhile, Ananya and Ishaan will be sharing screen space for the first time in the movie ‘Khaali Peeli’, set to hit theatres on June 12, 2020.
