KKR 161/7 (20.0 Ovs), SRH 209/3 (20.0 Ovs)
Sunrisers Hyderabad secured their fifth win at home as they defeated Kolkata Knight Riders by 48 runs to consolidate their third spot.
David Warner slammed a magnificent 126 as Sunrisers Hyderabad defeated Kolkata Knight Riders by 48 runs in the 2017 Indian Premier League encounter at Uppal.
After his wicket towards the fag end of the innings, Kane Williamson’s 25-ball 40 ensured a strong finish.
And later, the bowlers kept Kolkata to 169 for the loss of seven wickets as Hyderabad won the match by 48 runs. KKR chase was interrupted by rain, but apart from a small period where Uthappa and Pandey stitched a partnership, Kolkata never looked like being in the game.
With this win, SRH stays in the third spot while KKR remains in top spot.
In four overs, Sunrisers raced to 52/0 with the Australian opener scoring 44 of them. KKR had a couple of close chances early on to get rid of Warner but couldn't quite hold on to them.
