The romantic drama featuring newcomers, which was earlier slated to release on August 24 has now been postponed to September 7. The makers shared the news on their official twitter handle by tweeting, “Love is worth the wait! #LailaMajnu hits screens on 7th Sept!
 

Interestingly, the film will now clash with two Bollywood films viz Drive and Paltan.

Talking about Drive, the film features Sushant Singh Rajput and Jacqueline Fernandez and is directed by Dostana helmer Tarun Mansukhani. It is produced by Karan Johar under his banner Dharma Productions. On the other hand, Paltan is directed by JP Dutta, who has delivered blockbusters like Border and Ghulami. The war drama stars Sonu Sood, Arjun Rampal, Gurmeet Choudhary, Harshvardhan Rane and Sonal Chauhan in pivotal roles.
