Hrithik Roshan relates 'Super 30' success to his hit film 'Kaho Na Pyaar Hai'
After almost two years, Hrithik Roshan finally hit the screens with his film 'Super 30' this year which has struck the right chords with the audience.
Playing the role of mathematician Anand Kumar, Hrithik in his complete de-glam look took everyone by surprise and his performance has been hailed as one among his best. The film is edging towards the Rs 100 crore mark and will be registered as yet another golden achievement for the actor.
Speaking about the success of the film, Hrithik Roshan in a recent interview said that the emotions he feels are very similar to that when his film 'Kaho Na Pyaar Hai' had released.
The film had made Hrithik a sensation in Bollywood and since then the actor has come a long way. The film is based on the life of Patna-based mathematician-professor Anand Kumar, who is known for his initiative 'Super 30' which teaches underprivileged and economically backward kids for the IIT entrance exams free of cost.
Hrithik revealed that 'Super 30' was one of the most challenging films he has ever done as the requirement was to capture the soul of Anand Kumar.
Hrithik further said that before meeting Kumar, he had a vision in his head how he would be and he was hesitant to meet his at first because he didn't want his idea of him to break. However, after meeting Kumar the actor said he felt that he added more beautiful colours to his vision. Directed by Vikas Bahl, the film also stars Mrunal Thakur, Nandish Sandhu and Pankaj Tripathi in pivotal roles. The film hit the screens on July 12.
