The director said that Pankaj Tripathi, who plays a dodgy fixer in Dubai and has a cameo appearance, said that Angrezi Medium is his "guru dakshina to Irrfan" adding that the actor was the reason he got into acting. The trailer of the movie and the soulful songs has already garnered positive response from the audience and critics alike. The much-awaited movie will hit the theatres on March 20, 2020.
