Nushrat Bharucha carved her niche in the film industry with her acting skill. She is best known for her roles in Luv Ranjan's films such as 'Pyaar Ka Punchnama' and 'Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety'. She was last seen in Ayushmann Khurrana starrer 'Dream Girl' and was recently in the news for making heads turn with a green gown on the Filmfare curtain-raiser.
While there were some lauded her for the bold choice, several others trolled her. As soon as her photos surfaced on the Internet, her outfit became a topic of discussion.
During an interaction with a leading daily, when Nushrat was quizzed about her outfit. The 'Sonu Ki Titu Ki Sweety'actress reportedly said that we have freedom of speech in our country so whatever anyone feels, they can put it out. Just like how others have their opinion, so similarly, what she wants to wear is her right.
She further added and talked about how fraternity reacted to it. They told her that they would be never able to do this so it's great that she could carry this off.
She didn’t think people are going to praise her, or it will become the talk of the town. She doesn't get bothered at all and doesn't read the comments. She even revealed that if the dress didn’t fit well or fall right, she wouldn’t be wearing it. It had nothing to do with how bold it was. If it didn’t look good on her, she would have not worn it.
Talking about her dress, it was a risqué one with the slit on the side of the dress going way above the actress’ hip and revealing her entire leg and her tattoo.
On the work front, Nushrat will be next seen in Hansal Mehta’s film ‘Chhalaang’ which also stars Rajkummar Rao. The makers of the film had shared the first look poster and it was quirky. 'Chhalaang' is scheduled to release on 13th March 2020.
