Hema Malini: You have become a prisoner in the hands of your own children!
Daughters Esha and Ahana are extremely protective about their mother Hema Malini.
So much that the politician, actress and dancer feels trapped at times! Talking about the same, Hema tells Bombay Times, “My daughters don’t allow me to get out of my house. The children are so worried about you and take care of you. So much that you have become a prisoner in the hands of your own children. Even my brothers (R.K. and R.J. Chakravarti)… they too are not allowed by their children to go anywhere. They just say nah-nah-nah aap nahi ja sakte buss. Not just that even my grandchildren stop me from venturing out.”
The Member of Parliament also wants to visit Mathura, but is barred from doing so.
“I also have to visit my constituency. People are calling me there, they want me there. However, the officials say aap bilkul mat aao idher. I know people are just worried, but work cannot stop, right?” Not just that, Hema who does live shows is waiting to perform. “I was about to perform on March 21 in Mumbai, for my new ballet, Ganga. That too got pushed. The schedules have gone haywire, I am eager to perform live,” she adds.
