Raj had directed Ayushmann Khurrana-Nushrat Bharucha starrer Dream Girl (BCCL)
It's been three weeks since, Dream Girl filmmaker and writer Raaj Shaandilyaa tested positive for COVID-19.
However, he finally tested negative for the disease on Tuesday morning. Recalling the days gone by, he shared, "I got my reports today and after several days of staying in isolation, I finally tested negative today in the morning. I got a fever on September 1 which continued for a few days. Initially I thought it was viral. But then later, I consulted a doctor who asked me to get a COVID-19 test done, which unfortunately came out to be positive. Before getting the test done, I could make out that probably this is COVID and so I isolated myself. It was after 10 days, that my fever went away and I was relieved to some extent." He added, "Today after 20 days, my report came negative and I am really happy and relieved. When I initially got the report, I was like why has this happened to me. But later, seeing the recovery rate of people around me I was quite positive that I will recover soon. And now I have antibodies in me for a few weeks and if required I will go for plasma donation to help someone."
The filmmaker says he utilized the time of isolation constructively.
"I made the utmost use of the time I spent in isolation to write scripts. That is one thing I used to do daily. Plus, I also thought of two ideas for my upcoming films, which I will be announcing on Diwali. One of the movies is a social satire with a humorous touch," shared Raaj.
