Recently, in an interview Rohit said, twenty-seven years ago, he was an assistant director on the sets of Suhaag (1992) which featured Akshay Kumar and today he is directing him, therefore he feels that this is a kind of achievement for him. Adding further he also averred that when the Khiladi of Bollywood is on the set, he is completely immersed in his work.

Throwing more light on the same Rohit said that he wants to expand this cop universe, for which he and his team are writing a story in which all three heroes will appear together. He has also confirmed that Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh will be a part of Sooryavanshi’s climax.

On being asked about the same, he questioned why people don’t discuss ‘Chennai Express’ or ‘Dilwale’ when they are debating about the female characters of his films? If he has his hero to do all the action, he can't make the actresses fight. He also asserted that when he will make a female cop film, the character will surely fight with the villains. He is already developing a film on those lines.
