Dimple Kapadia-Paresh Rawal will play 'adopted' parents of Rajkummar Rao-Kriti Sanon in Dinesh Vijan’s upcoming situational comedy | Memsaab.com

Rajkummar Rao and Kriti Sanon last shared screen space in their heartland comedy Bareilly Ki Barfi and now they are all set to unite for a Dinesh Vijan production.

If sources are to be believed, Dinesh's yet-untitled situational comedy features Raj and Kriti as a couple and both of them are orphans.

Thus, Raj decides to adopt parents brings an older couple home and they almost end up destroying his life and marriage. Adding to the excitements, the 'adopted' parents will be played by none other than National Award-winning duo of Paresh Rawal and Dimple Kapadia.

Dinesh, who has backed films around round real-life issues like premature balding (Bala), livein relationship before marriage (Luka Chuppi) and the trials of a parent wanting to give his child the best education in Hindi Medium and the upcoming Angrezi Medium, told the daily, “This innovative idea also came from real life though it is not inspired by any incident in particular. We have spun it into a crazy comedy with our unique tadka." Recalling how he was in talks with Raj and Kriti for another film, The filmmaker said, “That project wasn’t working out, so, one day, over a cup of coffee, I sketched out this idea to them and they jumped at it. Raj and Kriti came on board even before the script was written.”
