Ace filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali's epic saga 'Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam' which starred Salman Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Ajay Devgn in the lead role is touted as one of the blockbuster evergreen films in the history of Bollywood.
But did you know, Bhansali was reportedly wanted to cast Kareena Kapoor Khan in the main lead opposite the two talented actors?
Yes, you heard it right, Bebo was reported to be approached by Bhansali to feature in the film as the lead and make her debut in Bollywood but the diva had to turn down the project due to further studies.
In an earlier interview, Bebo had opened up about it and revealed that Bhansali had approached her for 'Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam'.
But she felt she was quite young back then and was even planning for further education so things couldn't materialise.
Kareena, who later made her debut alongside Abhishek Bachchan in 'Refugee' is yet to team up with Bhansali on the silver screen.
Meanwhile, she was last seen in Homi Adajania's 'Angrezi Medium' and also has Karan Johar's magnum opus project 'Takht' in her kitty.
