With Mumbai being in the state of a lockdown, filmmakers are having a good time wrapping their creative brains around the situation.
One such director being, Sanjay Gadhvi. The Dhoom director is busy working on a script, with his writers, which is based on the lockdown situation.
Talking about the same, Sanjay says, “It is a show which is based in Mumbai. It is actually a funny take on lockdown. It will have lighter, tongue-in-cheek moments. It will be a human bonding story with a learning curve.”
He further adds, My inspiration has been this show called M*A*S*H*.
It was an American show, a dark comedy, from the 70s based on war. If comedy can be made with war as a backdrop, then we can definitely do it with lockdown as a backdrop.” Talking about the protagonists, Sanjay says, “Well there is one protagonist with three supporting characters. We also have a female character and I like her part a lot. At this point of time I cannot open up about the casting.”
