Deepika Padukone was all over the news and the social media after her fans took to twitter to express their disappointment when reports of the actress working with #MeToo accused filmmaker Luv Ranjan made the rounds. The fans had also stared trending “Not My Deepika” on the micro-blogging site.
While later reports were rife that the ‘Padmaavat’ actress has stepped out of the film, the latest ones say she is very much a part of the film.
According to a report in Filmfare, Deepika and the makers are shocked to read such reports as they are untrue because they are very much doing the film together. In fact, they have had several meetings for the film to discuss the project in detail.
The film is reportedly set to go on floors after Ranbir finishes shooting of Ayan Mukerji’s ‘Brahmastra’ and one other thing.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Deepika will next be seen in Kabir Khan’s ‘’83’ alongside husband Ranveer Singh. She will also be co-producing the movie. Apart from that, she will also be seen in Meghna Gulzar’s ‘Chhapaak’. The film also stars Vikrant Massey.
