Post their wedding, DeepVeer will be seen in Kabir Khan’s ‘83 wherein Ranveer will play Kapil Dev and Deepika will essay the role of Romi Dev. Now during an interview, Deepika revealed that when they are shooting for a film, they both don’t bring their personal equations on set so much so that both, Deepika and Ranveer don’t even drive to set together because they both are not in the same headspace.
 

“If you see Ranveer and I on set, we are very different than what we are otherwise. We may not even sometimes drive together because we are in a different head space. It's not on purpose.

There's no expectation of behaving like husband and wife or boyfriend and girlfriend when you're working,” said Deepika. Talking about Kabir Khan’s ’83, Deepika says that although she plays Ranveer’s on-screen wife in the film but while shooting for the film, she did not even think that he is her real husband because there's so much to think about in that moment, the scenes, the lines.

Post her wedding, Deepika Padukone started shooting for Meghna Gulzar’s Chhapaak and next, she recently wrapped up Kabir Khan’s ’83, and during an interview, this Chennai Express actress said that she has found a film that she is likely to do early next year but it's not light. “It's quite dark but still in the romance space,” said Deepika.
