Dabangg 3: Prabhudheva shares his experience of working with Salman Khan; Talks about Wanted sequel
Salman Khan is undoubtedly one of the biggest superstars of Bollywood and has a huge fan following.
However, a decade ago there was a time when he appeared in a number of flop films such as God Tussi Great Ho, Yuvvraaj, Main Aurr Mrs Khanna and London Dreams. Around the same time, Salman gave the blockbuster hit Wanted and became one of the most loved actors of Hindi cinema once again.
Produced by Boney Kapoor and directed by Prabhudheva, Wanted is the remake of Telugu film Pokiri and also stars Ayesha Takia, Vinod Khanna and Prakash Raj.
It became the second highest-grossing Bollywood film of the year and Salman Khan was, in a way, reinvented. Talking about the same, director Prabhudeva who will be working with the superstar again in Dabangg 3, said, “It has been 10 years since then, and I don’t want to look back. It’s been a great experience. I don’t take any credit because who am I to rediscover Salman Khan? He is a superstar. I was new to Bollywood then and he was a superstar, and he trusted me so much.”
Till date, fans are eagerly waited for a sequel of the film Wanted.
Choreographer and filmmaker Prabhudheva opened up about it and shared, “There are no plans for Wanted 2 for now, but you never know what the future holds for you. For now, I am working with Salman again in Dabangg 3 and that’s a great opportunity for me.”
