Every actor, in his/her career span, dreams of working with Big B and as luck had it, Ayushmann got this opportunity early on in his career and talking about working with Mr. Bachchan, Ayushmann says that Big B is a living legend, and an institution. “I had met him socially but on the sets, it was very different. He comes really prepared with everything. He knows your lines also. He’s an institution, he’s a living legend. Thankfully, he is that co-actor who’s very collaborative. So, the butterflies were gone when I met him on the set,” shared Khurrana.
Ayushmann has finally started the shooting of Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan where he plays the role of a homosexual and post Dream Girl, he will be seen in Bala, where he is playing the role of a balding guy.
Talking about Dream Girl, National Award winner Ayushmann says that it was a tad bit difficult to modulate his voice to that of a girl, but like they say, hard work, determination and dedication can help you reach greater heights and Ayushmann did exactly the same, and even if that meant, some 40-odd takes. Talking about Dream Girl, Ayushmann says that the transition from the male to female voice was not that smooth. “I went to the studio gave 40-odd takes and then hit the right note,” said Khurrana.
