Both the movies will hit the screens on August 12. Mohenjo Daro revolves around an epic adventure lover story, while Rustom is based on the real life incident of Naval Officer K.M. Nanavati.

Asked if the clash is of any concern, Gowariker said: "The thought did come to our mind that the films will clash and box office will get affected, but then even Sholay and Jai Santoshi Maa released on the same date and Jai Santoshi Maa was a bigger hit because its cost of recovery was higher.

"Lagaan and Gaddar had released on the same date too. So, I feel Mohenjo Daro should also work and Rustom should also work at the box office and both the films should be superhits."

Talking about Mohenjo Daro, which also stars Pooja Hegde, Gowariker said: "Language was a difficult topic for this film. We thought we would have a blend of a bit of Sindhi, a bit of Hindi and it creates the feeling of the old world. I didn't want the audience to get alienated... Everybody should understand it.".
