After spending the lockdown period in Chandigarh, actor Aparshakti Khurana has returned to Mumbai to start shooting for his next ‘Helmet’.

Aparshakti made the most of his free time with his family in his hometown. Recently, he took to Instagram and remembered his lockdown days there.

He shared a video on his Instagram handle and mentioned that he is grateful to have spent 3 months of lockdown in Chandigarh with his family and friends. He even wrote how he used to wake up at 7 am to play badminton with his friends. Sharing the video with his fans, Aparshakti wrote, “Everyone’s calling 2020 a party pooper but I think that there’s a lot to be grateful about this year. I personally am grateful to have spent 3 months of lockdown in Chandigarh, where my childhood friends and I woke up every single day at 7 AM to play Badminton. It made me nostalgic about my childhood days when i used to wake up around the same time for cross country runs. It gave me a chance to truly relieve those days. These 3 months were literally and figuratively, fruitful (since we had water after our badminton sessions). So, this was about me but I am sure, there’s something for all of us to be grateful about this year. If only, we [email protected] @jatinssawhney @sanchitsekhwal Miss you guys in Mumbai!”

Earlier, in an interview with Bombay Times, Aparshakti spoke about resuming shoot amid the new normal. He said, “I am back to Mumbai and it feels amazing to be back here. I am really happy to be back on a set. I will start shooting for Helmet soon. I am also expected to shoot a music video for a single. There is a lot of work lined up and it feels so amazing to see everyone so well prepared for the shoot. The first few days have made me feel extremely safe at work. The unit had ensured that everything, all the guidelines are followed and yet, everyone is comfortable at work.”
